Literary Hauntings

Look what the Christmas elves delivered!... 'Literary Hauntings: A Gazetteer of Literary Ghost Stories from Britain and Ireland', just published by the ever wonderful Tartarus Press.

Isn't it a thing of beauty! It is, which is why you need to go and grab yourself a copy. And I'm not just saying that because I'm one of the contributors. If, like me, you read stories and wonder if the location is real or imagined, still in existence or long gone, well this is the book for you. Whether you dash off around the country visiting the places in person or jump in the Google buggy and visit them from the comfort of your armchair by the fire, you'll be fascinated - nay, enthralled and overwhelmed - by the contents of this book.

You can find it here.

Shameless plug over. As you were.

  1. Gina ! You're back ! How nice to see a new post again. I owe you a great deal of thanks for all your book reviews - they were instrumental in the building of my small press book collection. I see you are on Goodreads as well. Sad to see the end of Ash Tree Press but we have Sarob, Tartarus, etc. to keep us in shivers mode. Happy New Year !

    1. Yes, I have returned from my 'short' break! I'm so glad the reviews have helped you put together your small press library. It is a shame about Ash Tree Press... But yes, we have Tartarus and Sarob - both excellent, making books as books should be made. Happy New Year to you too!
